FinalSpark has developed a cloud service that gives scientists access to these biological computers. The service, called Neuroplatform, uses organoids containing thousands of brain cells instead of silicon chips. It can mimic the structure and function of the human brain on a very small scale.
FinalSpark researchers have also discovered new ways to program the neural connections of organoids through specific stimulation techniques. By sending specific doses of dopamine or electrical signals, it is possible to mimic the human brain, he said.
